I love you for you.
I love your strength and your resilience.
I love your heart for authenticity.
I am so sorry for the mistreatments, the discrimination, and the abuse over the years, and unfortunately we still have so much more to learn.
I am sorry some people have not taken the time to see your value and your worth.
I am sorry some people have hidden behind religion or have claimed to speak for God to reject you and treat you inhumanely and make you feel worthless.
I want you to know that you are safe with me.
You can count on me to love you and defend you, and respect you.
I will value you and tell you how special you are.
I will never shame you or ignore you.
If you need a hug, someone to talk to, or just a shoulder to cry on… I am here for you!
I am doing what I know Jesus would do.
He loves you, He adores you, and He is unashamed of you.
