Today, I thank God for Joel Cortes, our youngest, our baby. He has shown me that I can love more than 1 child with the same amount of love. At first I wondered how it could be possible to love two children the same, how not to prefer one over the other, but when Joel arrived, I instantly loved him with the same deep love as Jose III, and I could never prefer one over the other. They are my boys!
Joel, is always full of energy and enthusiasm. I enjoy seeing him act all silly when he is trying to get attention or how he always seems to have an answer to any question you may ask him. At times he will ask me something that I can not answer, and I realize how curious we are as humans,and how the only one that has all the answers is God.
Lord, thank you for Joel. Thank you for showing me that love has no limit. Thank you that through him I am learning how vast life is and how small we are, and how we will never have all the answers. Help me to be full of energy and enthusiasm just like him, for life is so short and we must learn to enjoy it.
